was written for my dog Jinger who had allergies to corn and barley.
During the Pet Food recalls my friend's two dogs both died.
Jinger was showing her age, and had almost quit eating entirely. I could not continue to feed commercial food, I could not find one I had any confidence in.
What I discovered was a diet so good for dogs, Pizanno benefitted greatly too! These diets, although simple, have resolved many health problems in my dogs. Skin, allergy, weight, doggie b.o and bad breath too! Pi lost 8lbs and has kept it off. In a human that's equal to 40lbs. Just by eating a whole foods diet! I did not change the amount of food I fed.
Recently a Home Cookin' user told me he felt it saved his dog's life and added many years of healthy time to their relationship together. He said the dog celebrates every time mom gets the pots out to cook!
All dogs with jobs should have this diet. Police dogs, U.S. Customs dogs, Agility Dogs, any working dog needs superior nutrition that can be trusted.

There are a lot of pet nutrition books out there, but none as brief, simple to understand, or uses ingredients already present in the average kitchen.
